For just a minute let's forget about our favorite rapper, forget about judging artists off what they wear or what trend they follow. I hear all the time "there isn't any good music left out there". At one time, even I agreed to that point. If you haven't checked in already i want to introduce you to Kam Moye aka Superstition, a North Carolina-native that chooses to focus on conceptual songs that offer insight and a first- hand look at his own mistakes and accomplishments. This weekend I had the chance to check " Don't Forget " off his new album " Spitting Image" . This track went straight to my chest when he thanks his lady for being his crutch. If you're like me, you either have this or you wish you did. Songs like this are all to rare in hip hop these days and almost obsolete from mainstream outlets. This is not a " bring hip hop back" or an "eff commercial music" post, but take time, listen, and ask yourself wouldn't you like to hear something that you can relate to at least a few times daily? Clear your mind for a second and let me know what's good. Peace!
