Sunday Soul Pack: THIS IS THE REMIX!!!

It's been a minute since the last Sunday Soul Pack, I've been meaning to put some new ones up and believe me I'll get to all the music that was sent to me soon.  This week I wanted to speak on remix.  Truthfully, I never liked them music.  New beat with some old lyrics, shoot I'd just want to make a new song.  Now I'm all about the remix, we remixed the site, remixed our blog intro, and even got loads of remix music. Take the New:Magic:Remix:E.P. The Jake did remixing a few of our Aggressive Soul bangers, brought a whole new life to those songs.  In fact, his touch on Back At It still is in constant rotation around here.  Let's bring it to the new though, got some new heat I want yall to check out.


Crew54 -Knockin Doors Down DJ Rock Well Remix by crew54
DJ Rock Well works with a lot of local artist, and has even DJ'ed a few shows that we've been on, but we had yet to link up properly and do some work.  I was checking out a few of his beats that he posted on FB, and hit him up about one that was already in use (whats good PC!)  Rock Well told me to send him a few accapella's and knock em out.  Knocking Doors Down fts. V-Zilla, who is a monster on the mic, and Rock Well took it and gave this song a whole new vibe, even tried something different with the vocal placement to give it a whole new effect.


Crew 54, Alpha 2020 - Feel Me (Unearthed Mix) by crew54
After Rock Well posted his remix, Haris got at us on FB to remix some of our tracks.  He told me this remix was going to be hot cuz he wanted to show Alpha 2020 (who produced and rapped on the original,) and I gotta say he put it down.  We'll definitely be doing more work in the future.

I gotta say, this remix blew me away when i first heard it.  We met Checho through his work with Alpha 2020 and Chopsteak.  We sent him this Keep On Moving off of Aggressive Soul and this is how he killed it.  If you've ever come to a Crew54 show you've probably heard us do this version live, and probably had ya hands up rocking the whole time.
