VIDEO: 54 Reality Show 2012 Ep. 1 2011 Recap

G-Christ is back in the states and the 54 Reality Show is 100% back in effect for the new year.  To go forward though, we got to go back a bit and reflect on 2011.  It was an interesting year full of highs and lows filled with great music and awesome performances.  We can't look back for too long though, so we jump 2012 off the right way with a high energy performance from OPMG'z and the LOEG'z.

I gotta say, every now and then you get a great weekend full of local music and this weekend was one of them. First off, I stopped to check the newest edition of the Powerhouse TV Cipher with some of Austin's best getting it in.  Then Sunday Riders Against The Storm and DJ Chorizo Funk put down one amazing MLK Birthday celebration with performances from Da'Shade Moonbeam and Bavu Blakes.  Gargameljermel from the Hotbox254.com was in the building and caught the footage above which is just a taste of how dope an evening it was.

VIDEO: GOODMAN-Creative Persuasion

Everyday I get emails for people submitting their music and videos to be posted to this blog.  It's standard practice for music blogs, I should know I submit our stuff to blogs often.  I won't lie, I don't check new stuff as often as I should, but every now and then I check and link and really enjoy what I stumble upon.  Today I got an email from GOODMAN telling me about his "Creative Persuasion" LP with 50 instrumentals (that he's looking to fill with MC's so if you rap you might want to check it out,) and some dope artistic videos that you should check out for the art alone.
